About RituaLuna Wellness
RituaLuna Wellness is a collective of integrative bodyworkers offering massage, acupuncture, and more holistic healing services in Portland, Oregon. Founded by Roxanne O'Hara, LMT, a longtime bodyworker and former instructor of massage, we work together to
Unlike traditional spas or clinics, we consider each bodywork session an exploratory collaboration between the bodyworker and the receiver. Each session may integrate different therapeutic techniques depending on what the therapist and client agree on during the consultation before each session. We aim to create open communication about what feels good and what they'd like different. Together, we'll work gently and with care to bring ease to your body and nervous system, creating a sanctuary for you to honor and nurture your deepest self.
Our welcoming, cozy space tucked away from the lively streets of Sellwood has two private massage rooms with heated tables, plenty of bolsters and pillows, and AC in the summer. We include add-ons (like a hot towel, aromatherapy, or cupping) at no extra charge: just ask your therapist about their offerings.

Referrals
We require a referral for auto accident treatment, as it can help safeguard your claim and ensure timely payment for our therapists' services. A referral functions similarly to a prescription and can be obtained from a medical professional you visited following the accident. They can provide their own referral letter or use our form, ensuring it includes all required details:
-
The prescriber must be one of the following:
-
Oregon policy: Physician (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Physician Assistant (PA, PA-C), Nurse Practitioner (NP, ANP, PNP, FNP, GNP), Naturopath (ND), or Chiropractor (DC).
-
Washington policy: Physician (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Physician Assistant (PA, PA-C), Nurse Practitioner (NP, CRNP, ARNP), Naturopath (ND), or Osteopathic Physician Assistant (OA).
-
-
The referral must specify a diagnosis that massage therapists are authorized to treat, such as a musculoskeletal condition identified with a ICD-10 code beginning with M (such as "M25.551 - pain in right hip").
-
The referral must have a valid time frame, and either a prescribed number of visits or frequency of treatment. For example,
-
"6 sessions of 60-90 minutes, with no expiration"
-
"twice weekly for 6 weeks"
-
Additionally, 90-minute sessions for MVAs are available only with an up-to-date referral stating that 90-minute massage/manual therapy sessions are recommended and are medically necessary. These appointments cannot be booked online and must be arranged by phone or through your therapist with the appropriate referral.
We highly recommend that you get a re-assessment and a new referral from one of the providers listed above every 4-8 weeks to keep your claim active. Please send us new referrals as you get them. If you have any questions or require assistance with obtaining a referral, please don't hesitate to email us at office@ritualunawellness.com. We're here to help you navigate the process and access the care you need.
